Has your MLA done anything for roads this year?

So I was going through the MPLADS (Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) data for Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, and the numbers are... not great. Here’s what the data says (as of October 2025): 💰 Allocated Amount: ₹9.8 crore 💸 Utilized Amount: ₹1.16 crore 📉 Fund Utilization: just 11.9% 🏗 Total Projects: 81 ✅ Completed: 6 🚧 In Progress: 75 📊 Completion Rate: 6.9% Some examples of where funds have been spent: ₹5 lakh for furniture at a government primary school in Jaraganahalli ₹4.99 lakh for furniture and ₹4.98 lakh for smart TVs in Sunkenahalli ₹4.99 lakh for RCC benches at Sarakki Lake ₹4.99 lakh for minor works inside Adugodi police quarters (toilets, reception area, etc.) All tiny, localized projects and most capped right below ₹5 lakh each. Meanwhile, he’s constantly talking about “Vision Bengaluru”, digital India, tech innovation, youth politics, etc. But when it comes to actually using his own MPLAD funds (meant for small-scale, high-impact community infrastructure), the performance is abysmal. For someone who never misses a chance to tweet about governance, this is pretty poor look in terms of actual delivery and forward looking vision. Thoughts
